How Wireless Services Are Charged


Calls

All calls are billed by the minute. There is a 1 minute minimum charge for each completed call made or received.


Data (GPRS)

Data usage is billed based on volume sent and received. No airtime or long distance charges apply in Canada. The amount charged is based on the pay-per-use rate per Kb or will be billed according to your monthly data service plan. Note that minimum usage rules apply for each connected session.


Call forwarding

You can subscribe to a monthly call forwarding feature that provides you with up to 2500 local call forwarding minutes each month. Long distance (if applicable) will be charged on call forwarding calls.


Call Waiting and Conference Calling

Both Call Waiting and Conference Calling are charged according to the minute rate of your price plan.


Long Distance

On a long distance call, you pay both airtime and long distance charges. Long distance is billed by the minute and is charged on both outgoing and incoming calls made to or received within places outside of your local calling area.


Busy signal or no answer

No charges apply for a busy signal or if a call is not answered when making a call on the Primus Wireless network. Roaming charges may apply for no answer calls while roaming.


Voicemail and answering machines

Airtime and long distance (if applicable) charges apply.


Toll-free numbers (800, 866, 877, etc)

Airtime charges apply. Long distance charges apply when roaming.


911

No charge for calls made to 911


Directory Assistance

A nominal service fee plus airtime applies for each call. Long distance charges may apply.


Star (*) calls

Airtime charges apply. Long distance charges apply when roaming.


International calls

Airtime and international long distance charges apply.


Roaming

A roaming fee plus airtime applies for each minute. Long distance may apply. Visit www.primus.ca/wireless/roaming for more information.

Please note that roaming charges may appear on your bill up to 120 days after the call was made.


Text messages

No charge for incoming text messages in Canada (up to 2500 per month). The PPU rate for text messages applies for any text messages received above 2500.

Messages sent from Canada are billed at the PPU rate or according to your Primus Wireless text messaging plan.

Please note that sending a text message internationally is not included with any text messaging plan.

Price plans, monthly features, E911, System access fee

All charges are billed by the month, 1 month in advance. Your first invoice will include charges for the pro-rated period of the current month from the day you activate (i.e. 5th) until the end date of your billing cycle (i.e. 20th). The first invoice will also contain charges for all monthly services for the next month.


Usage

All usage (airtime, long distance, pay-per-use, etc) is billed in arrears. This means that, for example, calls made in March will appear on your April invoice.
