Eudora Light Configuration

If Eudora is your E-mail client of choice, follow these step to configure it for use with your Primus account.

Configuration

  1. If Eudora isn’t running, open it.
  2. From the Tools menu click on Options.

  3. You will see an options screen that is split in two parts. In the left-hand window, select Getting Started.

  4. Depending on your version of Eudora do one of the following:
    • If your version of Eudora is 4.3 or later: type your full e-mail address in the Login Name: box. For example: username@primus.ca
    • If your version of Eudora is older than 4.3 (or is Eudora Light), type the numerical part of your activation code in the POP Account: box. For example if the activation code was 129230asdk932as, you would enter 129230.
  5. The Real Name: box should contain your name.
  6. The Return address: is where replies to your messages are sent to. Normally this is the same as your Primus e-mail address. For example: username@primus.ca
  7. In the Mail Server (Incoming): box, type pop.primus.ca.
  8. In the SMTP Server: box, type smtp.primus.ca.
  9. Click on OK. You should now be able to use your e-mail Primus e-mail account.
