Answers:
- What are the benefits of the More Sharing plans vs. the More Anytime plans?
-
More Sharing plans provide great value, here’s how:
- You get a large amount of anytime minutes to share, which may result in fewer billable minutes.
- Most wireless calling patterns can change from month-to-month. Sharing plans allow you and your More Sharing Wireless members to combine all of these monthly increases or decreases in call volume to even out your costs.
- Low monthly rate plans that include access for two people, and the opportunity to add up to 3 more people
- Generous amount of long distance minutes included
- All your wireless charges on one, convenient, monthly bill
- Can existing wireless customers change to these new rate plans?
- Yes. As long as there is a minimum of two wireless users in an account.
- How many people can use a More Sharing plan?
- There is a minimum of two (2) people, and a maximum of five (5) people.
- Can my More Sharing plan members live in different regions across Canada?
- No. All people on the plan must reside in the same province, but each person can choose a different local calling area within that province. This means that two people sharing a plan can't have a Toronto phone number and a Vancouver phone number, but could have a Toronto phone number and an Ottawa phone number.
- Can each person choose his/her own features?
- Yes. Each individual can add any available features. Please note the following features are included free for all people on a sharing plan: call waiting, call forwarding and conference calling.
- How is the extra minute option applied (ie. 50 extra minutes for $5)?
- If chosen, this option will be added to the minutes that are shared by all people in the account. All people will have access to these minutes, and no single user can add this option as an individual feature.
- How do I get the 50 bonus minutes, and how will this be applied to my More Sharing plan?
- In order to receive the 50 bonus minutes each month, the primary account holder needs to choose both of (a) a pre-authorized payment method (ie. Credit card), and (b) e-billing. The 50 bonus minutes will be added to the monthly anytime minutes (once per account), and will be accessed by all people under the sharing plan.
- Do anytime minutes and long distance minutes need to be used together?
- No. The account may use the long distance minutes even after the anytime minutes are used up. Long distance minutes do not include airtime.
- Does the System Access fee and E911 fee apply to each person on the account?
- Yes. Each person is responsible for his or her own System Access Fee and E911.
- Does the early cancellation fee apply to each person on an account with a More Sharing plan?
- Yes. The $200 early cancellation fee applies to each person on a sharing plan.
- Does Primus offer unlimited local calling between account members?
- No. Primus provides more anytime minutes compared to the competition, plus included long distance minutes. This provides more choice to our customers as they are not limited to calling only those people in their account, as some companies require. If unlimited calling is of interest, Unlimited Evenings and Weekends is available to purchase.
- Can all the people on a More Sharing plan make changes to the account?
- No. Any changes to a sharing plan account can only be made by the primary account holder (the person who initially set up the sharing plan). However, all people on the sharing plan can call individually to activate his or her phone, inquire about features etc.
- Can I have people on a More Sharing plan, and people on a More Anytime or Evening / Weekend plan on the same account?
- No. Cellular users must choose between a More Sharing plan and a non-sharing plan.
- Is a separate Wireless Service Agreement required for each person on a More Sharing Plan?
- Yes. Each person on a sharing plan chooses their own contract period and will be subject to the terms and end dates they choose. Sharing plan members can mix and match their phone model and contract term.
- What contract terms are available when signing up for a More Sharing plan?
- Two (2) and three (3) year contract terms are available to those customers signing up for a sharing plan. Each person on the account may choose his or her contract term from the above two options. These contract terms ensure you get great pricing on our cell phones.
- How many invoices are sent out for accounts with More Sharing plans?
- One. The invoice is sent out to the primary cell service holder (person who signed up the account) and the invoice will include the charges for all cell services on the sharing plan.
- How will the More Sharing plans be displayed on the invoice?
- Sharing plans will display the monthly rate plan charge in the Other Charges and Credits, section of the invoice. All other charges (ie. airtime, long distance, features, roaming) will appear in the wireless section of the invoice for each individual person.
- What will happen to an account, if someone on a More Sharing plan decides to cancel his or her service?
- There must be a minimum of two people on a More Sharing plan at all times. If canceling a service results in a single user, this person must be moved to one of our stand alone wireless plans. Any cancellations prior to the end of a contract term will be subject to the $200 early cancellation fee.
